We decided to go somewhere new, somewhere romantic where Conrad and I can relax and reconnect and make adventurous memories together. So far so good. We have been here for about 24 hours and it's marvelous! We are both in good spirits, excited to be here, exploring beautiful venice in the winter. The hotel is also elegant and "romantical" :-)

New Year's Party at Marian and Adina

We stepped into the new year at church... of course. And we started the year praying, in a cold church entrance, tired and uncomfortable, but surprisingly happy and hopeful and grateful for each other and for all that we have.
We watched the fireworks from all over the city and after that we went to have a delicious feast with our friends, Marian and Adina, Liviu and Iuliana, Adriana and Adi.

We played the "Feed your spouse with your eyes tied" game, we played Uno and another team cards game, we shared how we found our spouse, fell in love, proposed... and we had a wonderful-wonderful time.
The party ended after 7 AM...
